Remember that the hearts equal Cups, diamonds equal Swords, spades equal Pentacles and clubs equal Wands (in some regular Tarot decks the clubs are often somewhere on the Wands cards). So this layout reveals :

Past-  a kind hearted, generous soul who loves company, merged with thieving, conniving cheat, but the truth of her deceit and treachery were revealed and a new source of comfort and hope emerged.
Present - wealth is on the horizon from intelligent planning, advice from a mentor/motivator is offered freely, the kind hearted soul has become more guarded, less trusting but still wise and prudent, and a stalemate has occurred about an important matter that's being dealt with emotionally rather than logically.
