Deathly Chill

Welcome All!

If you know me and have had a chance to have your fortune told, you will know how accurate divining can actually be.

My special gift is being able to read people's energy patterns through things they touch. Alot of times, I use the change in their pockets.

If you are in Newfoundland, I encourage you to book a reading. It's quite fun to see what the spirits in your life have been aching to let you in on.

Fix 'Em Good!

Have you ever had days where you almost feel as if every movement you make is through water, that you have to struggle to even get a grip on your money when you go to buy something?  No matter how fast you try to be, you end up late? No matter how excited you are, you look dead tired?
Not to frighten you, but this indicates you have a fixator in your life. Somebody in your circle of peeps is putting all of their focus on you, all of their pent up emotions and negative energy...and they don't want you to get ahead.
You need some protective herbs for this one. Buy a cactus (put it where it will get lots of sun, in a room you spend time). Carry some catnip in your purse or better yet, drink a cup of catnip tea before you head out. And don't forget to place your pearly everlasting pillows to block any bad energies from interrupting your sleep.

Babies in your coins...

Baby coins are truly the neatest  spiritual trick in coin reading.

Dimes are normally the coin that represents infants and pregnancy.

Baby coins actually feel heavy. Plus, they don't feel like coins at all, but rather like pint sized jellyfish without the stinging tentacles.

They show up BEFORE a baby is born. Sometimes, even before the woman or her partner realize she's pregnant.

They can reveal stages of pregnancy indicated by where the baby coin lands in relation to the mother's coin in the coin throw. When the pregnancy should be kept a secret, the dime will hide directly beneath the loonie or quarter coin representing its mother or under two coins. Keep this in mind when feeling the need to blurt out "babies are on the way!"

You can search for upcoming babies in your friend circle by handing out a fistful of dimes and having your friends weigh them with their open palms. Or, by paying attention to any baby dimes in your own coin pattern that are not linked to your own coin.  You won't be able to hold someone else's coin and tell it is a baby, but you can notice which friend coins have dimes beneath their coins and follow the clues.

Sometimes ancestors like to provide family related items you should choose for baby shower gifts.  These are always an emotional hit.  Take their advice! Posies are nice for pregnant moms, also, since they have healing qualities in their aroma. And little dragon ornaments bring luck.

When Death Comes A Knocking

Bad news.  We all dread it.  We all want to know what's going to happen, but do we really want to know what bad things are heading our way?

I tell people to jot things down as they are revealed in their readings.  The spirits leave clues for you.  If something is life changing important, you will have a sense of deja-vu before it occurs.  This is because its already been seen in your mind's eye and you are now recognizing it, if only subconsciously.  The key is to be alert when this happens.

Where is your train of thought?  What are your actions doing that may be in contradiction to your life goals.  Are you feeling like yourself today, or are you being manipulated by others?  Are you in a strange mood?

Colour coded happiness

Did you know that different colours give off different energy signatures?  I'm sure most people are familiar with the term "aura".  We don't all have the same aura signature so we have varying colour needs.  What's your favourite color?  If you've been feeling inexplicably out of sorts it could be merely a lack of it in your wardrobe or constant surroundings, or worse, an over abundance of your favourite colour's opposite.  Yellow and purple are opposites; blue and orange are opposites; red and green are opposites.  If you don't feel like "yourself" you probably aren't showing people your true colours.
Bright yellow is associated with sunny dispositions, cheerfulness, happiness and friendship; but be careful of pale yellows, which draw in fatigue, disinterest, boredom and melancholy. Purple is a comfort colour for dramatic souls; it also ignites mystery, intrigue, and curiosity.  Blue is very strong but in a non-disruptive way; true bonds of loyalty, intelligence, virtue, and kindness feed on the colour blue. It does demand respect and keep people at a distance though. Orange is overabundance of warmth, strength, excitement and heat; it is wonderful in bursts where energy is constantly being used, otherwise it might agitate or cause burnout.  Red is the colour of boldness, romance, love, and passion; but it is also rage, hatred, obnoxiousness, and pain.  Green can be a healing colour, it calms and drains away negative energy, promotes alertness, uplifts the spirits, generates wealth;  overuse of green can be nauseating, exhausting, boring, but it is easily fixed with dashes of other colours.
So like Tarot cards that flip one way or the other to denote two sides to situations and personalities, or coins that show either heads or tails, colours must be observed and reflected upon.  You will instinctively know if you are lacking in certain colour energies when you come across the shades, tints or hues that "feel" refreshing, comforting, uplifting, energizing.  Fill up on those colours.  You are limited only by your imagination as to how.  Just remember, art is life, nature is living art and life is a stage.

Boy or Girl?

There is a little trick for telling the sex of unborn babies that I have found extremely reliable.  It involves dimes: Canadian dimes show girls as the Queen side. Baby dimes are not like regular dimes, however; baby dimes will actually have weight to them that defies logic. To me, they feel like a little ball of jelly in my palm, rather than the metal disc they actually are.
Pregnancy is usually denoted by a quarter partially covering a dime.  The further away from the quarter the closer the baby is to being born.  Sometimes when a mother doesn't realize she is pregnant or doesn't want anyone to know she is pregnant, the dime will hide beneath the quarter.
Unfortunately, sometimes the copper or death coin will show up beneath a quarter.  This is not a good omen.  Neither is having a heavy dime go light; miscarriage or a stillborn baby are the signs indicated by this.
Now once, however, I did have a very warm American penny act as a baby coin and land beneath the mother's own loonie coin.  With baited breath I touched the coin; it was warm and heavy.  She had a handsome copper haired baby boy and named him after an American president.

Contrary Cards, Condescending Coins

Tarot Card readings with coin throws added in. People ask me, what is the difference? Why do both, why not one or the other?

Tarot cards, I find, place everyone according to their personalities and how each card character is personified. They are "personable" and yet unbiased when it comes to delving out truth, opportunities, threats, life changes and so forth. The coins, on the other hand are more about little direct clues that sync with people's lives directly through what they or their loved ones like to do, eat, visit.

Where a Tarot reading may reveal someone's personality flaws,
their strengths, their natural relationship inclinations; a Coin throw will throw "apple pie", "grandma's quilt" or "fight at the hockey rink" at you.

Tarot Cards, to me, act as an impartial third eye. They break issues down more completely than the random clues you will receive during a Coin Throw reading but I find using both at the same reading can really give insight to problems that might not surface in discussion.

ON BEHALF OF THE INVISIBLE ONES

Some spirits have very strong opinions of people in your life - your medium may not understand the depth of this emotion, or where it stems from because of personal boundaries I discussed before - but the spirits will try to reach past me to their loved one, one way or another.  If they've wanted to express something to you for some time you may get inundated with information, like a storm of emotion.
Some clues might be about the past; perhaps you didn't realize you weren't truly left out of your grandfather's will.  Maybe a great aunt left you a gift that was never delivered. Perhaps you are not biologically related to the people you grew up with and one of your blood relatives would like you to know.
Some clues tend to be for events set to take place very far into your future, sometimes years down the road; but I find people who repeatedly get readings done will have predictions that are closer to their current time frame.
My theory is that a spirit who has never had an opportunity to "speak" to you may fear this is a one time thing and try to cram everything they "see" ahead of you in, just in case they never have an interpreter again.  Once they know you can contact them, that you accept they are really there and are open to communication, they are more at ease and so the messages are less of an emotional bombardment.

How Shall I Read Your Fortune?

What is the difference between a coin reading and a card reading?  Well, the coins are like a flash reel of images and feelings; whilst the cards basically lay everything out right there in front of you.  Coins and cards have the ability to feel like magnets, either pushing away or pulling a person's hand towards them.  Both cards and coins can feel hot or cold to the touch.

Some people's spirits get agitated with me when I can't relate what they would like with the coins and begin moving my hand around like a Ouija board eye, which is a bit frightening at times, but people remain emotional even after death, so I try not to take it personally.

The coins will leave me with actual physical pain if the person or their partner has an injury in their future, headaches, great sadness, excitement, joy, fear.  I try to avoid people who are about to suffer loss...its no fun experiencing death for others.

The cards are safer for me, the fortune teller, but they tend to be a bit blunt at times with those having their readings done. Some people's cards move away from their hands as they place them around the deck on their own (I do my fortune telling a little different than most) or fling off the table for dramatic effect.

Parental Paradigms

Being Canadian, I have the luxury of special coins called toonies that are the equivalent of two dollars.  These are larger than loonies (one dollar coins) and I designate them to represent people's parents.

These parents can be the people who have raised you, the people you were born from, or the people you choose to have in your life as mentors.

Usually elderly, these folks and their coin counterparts, can be hard to deal with at times.  Other times, their absence can cause a void one cannot replace.  When the spirits try to talk to you through toonies, put your own opinions aside and just listen.

Toonies that fall off counters indicate you will be on your own for a major life decision.  They aren't ignoring your plight - they just have things to do.  If they roll underneath something and remain missing, you might as well assume your parents are about to take a much needed vacation.

Sometimes toonies hide inside the bottom of people's purses, and refuse to be found.  This sign you can take personally.  It means your opinion or recent actions haven't made a good impression on your parental figures and they don't feel like arguing or discussing this topic right now.

If your toonie is exceptionally cold to the touch, note which side of the coin is facing up.  My methods use the Queen for the maternal and the flipside for paternal.  Coldness is a warning of potential illness or injury, possibly death, so don't take complaints of pain or depression lightly if your toonies are cold.  Take the time to warm up your parents' hearts with a visit or gift.

Close Quarters

Sometimes I think our lives are like soap operas to the invisible ones. Quarters - the coins of lovers and closest siblings and business partners - are juicy gossip pieces your kindred spirits cannot help themselves but try to tell you about.
Quarters that touch are your kin.  When they overlap it denotes an intimate relationship.  Pregnancy shows up through dimes being covered by quarters.  Quarters can shed light on any communication issues between partners, close relatives and even true rivals.

Spinning Loonie

Spinning coins is fun.  With a quick flick the transform from flat little discs into blurry orbs.  As gravity grabs hold of the situation they flutter down into a two sided form again.
When coins spin on their own, either when you drop them or try to pick them up, pass them to someone, etc. It is not to be taken lightly.Spinning or fluttering of any sort with any of your change is indicative of something active happening in your life, right now.  You can think of it as the wheel of fortune card in coin form.
Loonie coins  - or a gold coin of a different currency -show how a person values themselves. Spinning loonies are the most important spinning coin. When they fall, watch to see if they come up heads or tails.
Loonie woman landing on tails.or a loonie man landing on heads indicates an obsessive/controlling mate. Did your coin roll beneath something? You feel undervalued, because your efforts are going unnoticed. Coin land on top of something? Triumph! Coin land on top of other coins....better come get your coins read (lol).

Penny For Your Thoughts

Pennies are like the death card and the three of swords put together in fortune telling. Every now and then I will get a brave soul who asks for a penny reading - to see which spirits are there as invisible forces for and against them and also to warn of upcoming deaths in the family or circle of friends. Pennies have caused me to put off doing fortune telling for months at a time; I don't enjoy relating sorrow and anguish to people - I avoid it whenever possible.
If you've been picking up pennies lately that are warm to the touch, do not fear. If they send a shiver through you, you've touched a warning from the other side. If you feel a magnetic pull or push to the coin you have external influences about to alter your current life path.

My 10 cents worth

Have you ever gone to pay for something with change and had a dime fly backwards towards you like it was possessed? Then, when you tried to pick it back up, you had to pry it up with your fingers?

Weird, is what most people pass it off as, but what it actually is, is a sign.

Dimes can signify several things.  Some people think that when they find a dime unexpectedly, it means a family member who is passed on is thinking about them.  I believe that the flying dime is a loved one trying to warn you about a delay in travel.

The dime that comes towards you means you are about to backtrack.  You might hit a traffic stop.  You might have a family crisis to deal with that halts your progress.

If the dime rolls out of your hands it means you will be rerouted.  If it lurches back towards the initial direction, you are in luck, you've just hit a bump in the road, whether its physical or metaphorical.

And that's my 10 cents worth!

Introductions and Reintroductions

Welcome to my Fortune Telling Tips blog! If you know me and have had a chance to have your fortune told, you will know how accurate divining can actually be. My special gift is being able to read people's energy patterns through things they touch.
I try to allow the spirits to have their say.  And they love having their say! They know everything that goes on and most times cannot warn you or protect you, show their concern or pride, anger or happiness simply because you cannot see them.
People carry around emotional, physical, and spiritual baggage. In odd little ways, they might otherwise not pay much heed to, people's loved ones are are there desperately trying to provide input, encouragement, support. My blog is about recognizing "signs" (and I throw in a few ghostly encounters here and there).
